Please give a brief précis of your experience, reasons for wanting to be considered and any special areas of interests you may have. You must be at least 18 years of age on the day you are nominated, a British citizen, a qualifying citizen of a Commonwealth country, a citizen of the Irish Republic, or a citizen of another member state of
the European Union.
One of the following criteria must also be fulfilled. You must:
- Be on the electoral register
- Own a property or land for last 12 months in the parish
- Work in the parish in the last 12 months
- Have lived in the parish or within 4.8 kilometres for the last 12 months

Vacancy for a Parish Clerk
The Parish Council is seeking to appoint a Parish Clerk. The post is part time currently 20 hours per week with the possibility of increasing. The work is home based for which an allowance is paid.
The applicant must be available to attend Parish Council meetings on the 3rd Monday of every month (except August) and other work includes dealing with the burial ground, allotments, website, newsletter, planning issues, finance matters and more.
The applicant must be computer literate, have experience with word, excel and spreadsheets and have a basic understanding of accounting.
Training will be given but a background in administration management would be an advantage.
Salary will be paid in accordance with the National Association of Local Councils pay scale for Clerks.
